Section I: The corporation shall have all the general powers set forth in Section 202 of the Not-For-Profit Corporation Law of the State of New York.

Section II: The corporation is not formed for pecuniary or financial gain, and no part of the assets, income, or profit of the corporation is distributable to, or inures to the benefit of, its directors or officers. The corporation shall not participate in, or intervene in, any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office.

Section III: The purposes for which the corporation is formed are: to advocate and work for the improvement of conditions affecting Oneida Lake, including conditions affecting or pertaining to fishing, hunting, boating, and camping on the shores, islands, waters, and tributary waters of Oneida Lake; to endeavor to bring about, through proper channels, correction of any conditions found to be detrimental to the maintenance of the natural resources of Oneida Lake; to determine conditions existing in and pertaining to Oneida Lake and its tributary waters; and to promote conservation activities and encourage observation of conservation, environmental, and fish and game laws.

Section IV: The corporation will principally conduct its operations in the counties of Onondaga, Oneida, Madison, and Oswego, in the State of New York, where these counties adjoin Oneida Lake; and beyond these geographic boundaries, as deemed necessary by the corporation's board of directors, and to specifically benefit Oneida Lake as set forth in Article II, Section III.
